RM of Piapot’s story
The Rural Municipality of Piapot No. 110 was incorporated as a rural municipality on December 8, 1913. It lies in the southwest part of Saskatchewan.
Over the years the RM has come to include a number of small communities and localities: Carnagh, Crane Lake, Cross, Edgell, Kealey Springs, Leghorn, Piapot, Sidewood and Skull Creek. Today it is run by an elected council and an appointed administrator, who meet on the second Wednesday of each month, and the RM office is in the community of Piapot.
